Villamayor de Monjardin – Viana 30.51 km
Left Villamayor early in the morning – after dark. It is 12 km to the first settlement…
Endless plains of harvested grain, later a few vineyards. The road is quite flat and not difficult. There are a few uphills, but ok. In Los Arkos, an opportunity for coffee and a short break.
Next stop in Sansol, next to Torres de Rio do Viana.
I really liked this city – Viana. If I had come 7 days later, I could have seen the bulls being let loose on the main street.
Overnight at Donativo Albergue Parroquial de Viana. Slept like a true pilgrim on the floor.
Viana – Navarrete 21.51 km
It is about 10 km from Vianna to Lagrono, the road is not difficult.
There is a coffee break in Lagron, after which the path goes along a flat path for walking and cycling to the lake. Watch out for the squirrels after that 🙂 They are used to looking for something to eat. A small climb and then you have the plain to Navarrete.
I have never had better baked stuffed peppers. 🙂
Navarrete – Azofra 21.78 km
In the morning, I wanted to fill up the water at the fountain in Navarreta – it was not flowing. Looks like they shut it down overnight. So I started without water, I will fill it in the first village. At the crossroads, I turned off for a longer trip to Ventosa to drink coffee at the Bar and fill up my bottle. The road is not much longer 🙂
I continue to Najera, Sunday and in the morning everything is closed, so I just pass the town. A small climb after that in an area full of vineyards.
Azofra – a small village with a very good Albergue.
Azofra – Redecilla del Camino 26.11 km
After Azofra … plain then plain….
Granon was just waking up when I passed.
And then the plain again … to Redecillo del Camino
Redecilla del Camino – Villafranca – Montes de Oca 23.54 km
The path was simple, almost all straight.
Villafranca – Montes de Oca. I came to the hotel-albergue at the reception, everything looks expensive to me, so I think I made a mistake… I ask the receptionist: is it a hotel?
Yes, she answered.
I knew, where is the albergue?
Same here 🙂
I counted how many 360° photos were used in these virtual walks: 328 photos.
